Thanks to Lynn Defoe from National First Aid, we, 16 brave and adventurous first aiders, learned how to give rescue breaths, count to 30 while giving CPR and create fancy hairdoos, whilst bandaging bleeding heads.
We shared stories of cheeky children, experimenting with superglue, burning butts, doing tricks from couches and getting into all sorts of trouble.
We laughed and learned and will 'be prepared' with our heavy handbags and weighed down key rings, should some unlucky person dare to look pale and clammy or complain of pain!!
Unfortunately we were given homework to complete - on the holidays!! Good luck with those answers.

Maybe we should add another 2 hours of PD for completing the workbook!?
2 hours! It took me longer than that but I was NOT going to take it away with me and posted it on Friday!
