Story:
My brother owns a business selling flowers. On Mother’s Day he picked red & yellow roses to sell to all his customers. He was selling roses for $2.
Record on first page
1. Place counters for the roses
2 .Record all the roses – mark in the stems
3. Count the roses

4. Place them in bundles of 12, as my brother sells them by the dozen
5. How many bundles have you cut for him? Label each dozen
6. Note how man dozen of the red & yellow roses
